The artpiece is located Place des Grès in a building entry on the n° 44 of the rue Vitruve.
The work is a transformation of the neighborhood cartography into a living bush inviting the inhabitants to invest its fruits. Hundred of people participated to exist into the bush. Their collaborative efforts transformed a dangerous site into a sunny secure yellow meeting place.
At the time of the fall of the Berlin wall, the artist Françoise Schein created the Association INSCRIRE as formal non-profit association. Conceived as a positive action, the project was reaffirming the possibility to create transversal links between art, ethics, urbanism and citizenship.
INSCRIRE works with local populations in communities throughout the European Union and the world to conceive and create artistic works and events which highlight human rights principles and cultural diversity, and spark discussion and reflection about both.
Little by little, the project expanded in other countries and it became a network of projects managed by a multidisciplinary team.
